Candlelighters For Children With Cancer

Candlelighters For Children With Cancer helps families in Oregon and SW Washington by providing support, education, advocacy and hope to families whose lives have been affected by childhood cancer, including grief and bereavement support. Through our Grief & Bereavement Program, we are able to help families cope with the pain and grief recognizing that this is not a journey one can do alone. Candlelighters offers three different activities to help with living ad coping during what is arguably an unimaginable time in a family’s life. Picnic in the Park in the spring, Weekend Out West Family Camp in the summer, and A Time of Remembrance during the Holiday season. Meeting and getting to know other families experiencing grief and bereavement offers strength and courage to deal with their life without their loved one.
